Can I have a street address?

Not yet. Right now, we don't have commercial space to allow for the use of a street address. As we grow, however, a street address will become available for all of our clients.

How do you forward my mail?

By default, we use USPS Priority Mail, which takes 2 to 3 days. Up to around 30 regular size envelopes will fit into the Flat Rate Priority Mail envelop and it will cost $4.60. Of course, if you prefer, you can choose overnight servce. You are paying actual postage so it's entirely up to you.

Are there any hidden fees like handling and packaging fees?

Absolutely not. We charge your postage account exactly what you pay for postage.

What is the Free Upgrade offer?

If you join Dependable Remail early, you will automatically have free access to any new features that we add for the remainder of your subscription.

What new features are you planning?

— Online access to your mail box (available this Summer!)
— Online travelblog to help the perpetual travelers keep their friends and family up-to-date on their whereabouts
— Full telephone concierge service (directions, restuarant reservations, personal online shopping, Netflix management). Perfect for travelers who don't always have access to the internet. Sort of like a traveling butler.

How do I join?

Give us a call (toll free 866.796.9223) or send us an email. We'll send you the forms to fill out to and send back. Upon approval, we will assign you a box number and you're ready to go!

Can I have all my mail forwarded to you?

Absolutely! This is your new mailing address. You can choose to use it as your primary address or for any or all of your personal business.

How many names (mail recipients) can I have on my account?

Dependable Remail is for private parties only. Two names per account is the limit. If you have more than two recipients give us a call and we can discuss volume pricing.

When will my subscription begin?

Your subscription will begin the day you are notified of your new address. For example, if your yearly subscription begins on March 15, 2008, it will need to be renewed on March 15, 2009.


Anonymous Remail Services

How does a "double passcode" protect my identity?

When you send us your anonymous letter or postcard, you will make up two passwords. The first passcode is used on the tracking page - so you can easily track the progress of your letter or postcard. The second passcode is used in the event you need to contact us regarding your letter or email. That way, we can be sure it's really you who is contacting us. You will always remain anonymous.

After you get my letter or postcard, how soon will you mail it?

If it's a basic letter or postcard, it will be mailed the same day it is received. If extra services are requested, it will usually be the next business day. All the details will be on the tracking page.

What if I have the wrong address?

All letters are forwarded without a return address so, unless you request a proof of delivery, there will be no way to know if the letter or postcard arrived at its destination.

Why won't Dependable Remail forward packages?

Strictly for safety and liability reasons.

What will the postmark on my letter or postcard be?

Novato, California - a city just north of San Francisco.
